How about for those who pay for membership on here to not be able to see the text ad at the top?

When people pay for their accounts on angelfire, they're given the option to hide ads.

Just another idea for those who pay to suppor the site. Regardless if the text ad isn't a problem.

why bother, you can simply skip by going through the headings and such.

I know that Yankee but there are people who simply prefer no ads at all.

For me, I placed my ads on angelfire at the bottom of the page and no worries. But for some, it's a extra insentive. It shouldn't be that hard to create code that can hide these things.

...It was just a idea.

My oppinion is that here on the zone we are lucky about adverts. The only advert we get is a link on the top of the page after the main link.
Other sites have got google adverts and much more which makes navication difficult.
This is my oppinion.

That one ad at the top is no big deal. I barely even notice it anymore. And some of them are worth checking out. Now if we were getting pop up ads all the time, yeah, we'd have something to complain about.

yeah, i skip the advert if it's something i'm not interested in, whereas other sites, they have ads all over the place, i can name one in particular, hogwartslive, they have yahoo and google ads all over it.

i agree. the adverts are there, but does that mean you have to read them?

like people have said, just skip down

Hell the people pay to have them up there, so let them there. Then the people buying ad space get their moneys worth.
